Clare writes scripts for theatre and radio as well as the short stories she performs with Heads & Tales. She also writes fiction for children. She set up and runs 'Right to Write', creative writing workshops with homeless men and women in Bath, and refugees and asylum seekers in Bristol.
She has recently collaborated with director Cassiano Prado on an adaption of her story Swimming Away. The resulting short film is about to go into production. Swimming Away can be read at www.eastoftheweb.com. She is currently working on a script to be performed by students at Prior Park School in Summer 2011.
Last year, her play Very Shirley Valentine was recorded by the Radio Theatre Group and Wedding Dress was shortlisted for the Pint Sized Plays competition, her second play to be shortlisted for this competition.
